Bluejays Baseball

First year playing baseball. His number is 2 and he love batting last and playing a base. Baseball is Bronxs favorite sport, can't imagine why... He is mister chatting Kathy when he plays a base. Every player that is on the base you watch Bronx and he is making conversation with them. He is soo fun to watch. I am excited for next season. Love this kid.

Camping in Dugway

We had a lot of firsts on this camping trip. First camping experience for Bailyr, first time sleeping in the toy trailer, first time Bronx and Bentley rode the little three wheeler other than on a driveway, first time eating pancake baggies, first propane tank in the fire, first time eating hobo dinners in the dark. But not the first time where we have enjoyed ourselves with family. We will be camping in Dugway again, such a great place...for riding.

End of the Soccer Season

Bronx had soo much fun this year with his first experience playing organized sports. His coach was great. Bronx's award was "both feet" because he uses both feet to kick the ball.

Bailyr at 2 weeks

This is Bailyr at 2 weeks old. They are soo sweet when they are sleeping. I need to take full advantage because this isn't going to last very long.

Frog

Jared was pulling weeds along the fence in the backyard and a frog jumped out at him. Bentley was soo excited. I am knocking on wood because this is the first little creature we have found in our yard. Hopefully there will be no others.  We did release him after Bentley got tired of looking at him.

Can't Get Enough

Bronx and Bentley have been soo cute with Bailyr since we have been home. They can't get enough of her. Bronx even fell asleep touching her because he wanted to know that she was by him. The videos are of the kids singing to Bailyr.

From two to three

Bailyr Ann Manning was born on April 18th at 8:30 a.m. in the morning weighing 6 lbs. 7 oz. and was 19 inches in length. We had her cesarean so it was nice to know when you are going to have her, quick and easy. I thought for sure that I would have a red head but I am now 0 for 3 and don't think I will trying my odds.
This was Bailyrs first bath. She loves her tubs now.
We are soo blessed with all of the love and support we have received from family and friends. Above are just a few of the many visitors that came to visit us in the hospital.

l
It is amazing to know that your heart will open up for another after another. It is hard to imagine having more love when you feel like you already give all the love you have to your other children, but miraculously there is love, more than enough love. We can't ever imagine what life was like before Bailyr came. She will be loved more than she knows.

Swim Lessons

Posted by PicasaBronx and Bentley had two sessions of swim lessons this Spring. Bronx is a fish and loves everything about the water. He is in level 1 and just had to have goggles so he can put his face under the water. Bentley is in the exploration level where they get acquainted with water. She has two teachers and loves the female teacher. One week the female was filling in as the supervisor and it was just the boy teacher. She would not go in the water. Not sure why but she loves the girl. Her instructor said that it would be best if Bentley repeated the exploration level. Bless her little heart.

Happy Birthday Papa Honey

Today was Papa Honey's 77th Birthday. Can't believe it has been two years since he went to live with our Heavenly Father. To remember him we wrote a special message on the balloons and sent them flying up to him in heaven so he could read them. Bronx just wanted to show Papa how well he could write his name. We will forever remember how much he meant to us. Love you Papa!

Easter 2012

We started Easter off at the Mannings house searching for eggs up in the orchard. This is the second year that we have dyed Easter eggs as well. For the second year we also tried this new egg dying technique where you place the eggs in this container and it will keep the dye in place and won't be as messy. Yeah, not so much. I left with more dye on my hands then on the actual egg. None the less the kids had fun.
Easter morning the kids came down and found what the Easter Bunny had left them. Bentley came down and saw Bronx getting his stuff out of his basket and started crying because she thought it was hers. We had to have a restart. We also started a new tradition this year and planted magic jelly beans. We planted them the night before and to our surprise the next morning found lollipops. If only these jelly beans worked all year round.
We finished Easter day with another Easter Egg hunt at the Frustacis. This year the kids had a number. They could only pick up eggs or toys with their number on them. Instead of the older kids finding their quota of eggs in 5 minutes the hunt lasted much longer. I think this will be a repeat for next year. To finish it all off we had our annual egg bust. I am not sure who actually won, but the develed eggs were delicious.

St. George

We spent a week in St. George to watch Mitch play baseball and Jared had some work as well. All Bronx wanted to do was play baseball in the front yard. I was weeks away from giving birth and couldn't bend down to pick up all the balls so Bronx got tired of it quick and we would only go through a few buckets. He wanted to hit the balls but not retrieve them. He might only want to be a Designated Hitter on his team. The cutest thing was when Bronx was teaching Bentley the proper techniques to batting. I think she has a long ways to go.
I also took the kids to Fiesta Fun and they had their first experience with miniature golfing. Bentley lasted one hole and she was off exploring the course. Bronx was a trooper and started to get the concept of it. There was a family of 5 all young kids ahead of us and they only lasted for half course, so I was proud that we finished. Later that day treated ourselves to an ice cream at Icebergs. Yummy!!

Road Trip to Boseman, MT

We got the chance to go on a road trip with Jared to Boseman Montana. We spent most of the days in the hotel room waiting for Jared to be done with his conference. We went swimming a lot. I never knew that pregnant bodies were not meant to swim. I could not float whatsoever. The kids and I went to The Lorax. Such a cute movie. It was a fun little trip. Boseman is such a cute town.

Valentines Day 2012

We made Love Bug Valentines this year for Bronx's preschool class. He did a good job writing everyones names on them. Valentines morning was eventful. Heart shaped pancakes with enough candy than they need. We made Mitch a little Valentines Day package to send to him down in St. George. The kids were excited to get it to him.

First Real Snow Fall of 2012

We had gotten this new snow shovel at one of the Christmas parties that you just have to push and the snow rolls on itself, no lifting involved. So when it snowed where shoveling was needed I couldn't wait to try it out. The above picture isn't the snow shovel. It works great. I had no problem shoveling and I was 6 months pregnant at the time. I am thinking best Christmas gift ever!!
As you can tell from the picture Bronx was upset because he didn't get the shovel he wanted. So he had a little moment to himself.

Because I need to accomplish one good mom deed for the year, I thought I would get it done early and we made a snowman. He turned out pretty cute if I say so myself. Unfortunately our friend didn't stay long with the warm weather we had. Maybe he will return if the snow flies again.
