The Holidays 2010

We had Thanksgiving at my folks this year. We had such a great time playing Canasta and getting my butt kicked on Just Dance. Just proves that I am way out of shape. We are very grateful for all of our friends and family. We love our life and the main reason is because of our families. We are greatful for the gospel and the knowledge that we can live together forever as a family. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Thank you for being a blessing in our lives.

There are two things that I look forward to every year around the holidays. One is the good food. You can't get away from it. I think the holidays is the only excuse to eat like a pig. The second thing I love is the Christmas Eve party at Grandma Kotters house. Every year for our Christmas gift Grandma and Grandpa Kotter do a humanitarian gift in our names. This year we donated to the Hefer Corporation. They supply a family with an animal depending on what country they live in. This could be a cow, water buffalo, alapaca and many others. It was really neat to watch the video about it and see how we are making a difference and changing peoples lives.
After the spiritual part of the night the kids always put on a little talent show. Mostly consisting of the Kailie, Gracie and Lexi singing some songs. This year however we asked Bronx if he wanted to sing and he was too shy and said no. The next thing we know Bronx is up in front of everyone singing ABC and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It was so funny. He was so serious. Bentley also got up there and started singing what words she knew and kept swaying back and forth with a huge smile on her face. It was really cute. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for such a memorable party.
After the Christmas Eve party we went to Nana and Papa Frustaci's house and had the kids follow a "Dora the Explorer" Map that lead them to their Christmas Pajamas. First the kids went to Playland and put together a special puzzle, then the may lead them to Fa La La Bridge and they had to sing Christmas carols to the troll which was played by Uncle Matt. Then they had to spell HO, HO, HO with Janga blocks. Then swiper came and almost took away their presents but they told swiper no swiping and they were safe and opened up their Christmas pajamas. It was fun. Might be a new tradition. Thank you Aunt Heather and Uncle Jeremy for the pajamas.
Christmas morning at our house was full of emotion. Bronx was very excited to come down stairs to see if Santa had come. He got to the top of the stairs and started crying. Not sure why, I don't think he even knew why but it took him about 10 mintues to compose himself and come downstairs. He was pretty excited about what Santa brought. Bentley got a kitchen and Bronx got a train table. The kids were spoiled once again my everyone. The pictures that I took weren't very good. Most of them were really dark. These pics are all I could salvage from what I took. We had a great Christmas!
