Ward Carnival
Bronx, Bentley and myself were adopted by the Smith Family and they took us to our ward carnival. Micah was Bronx's new best friend and even showed him some respect by farting in Micah's lap. Micah had said that their relationship had been a little crappy. Too funny!! No carnival would be complete without cottoncandy. Bronx didn't like his and Bentley liked hers a little too much. Thanks Smith family for showing us a good time.
Syracuse Family Fun Center Field Trip
The last field trip of the year was at Syracuse Family Fun Center. They let the kids bowl a few frames and took the behind the scenes, which I have never seen myself. They went into the kitchen and saw their pizza being made and sampled a spoonful of Farr's ice cream. Bronx chose Brownie Bite. He did not like it so I just couldn't let him throw it away, so I ate it. It was really good. They then ate their pizza and played on the bounce houses. I think the field trip trumps the rest.

Bronx's Birthday

Bronx and I made these goodie bags to take to his school for his birthday instead of doing cupcakes or ice cream. Bronx said that the kids had fun with them. They sang Happy Birthday to him and he said he felt special.
This year for the kids birthdays we are celebrating with one big party but taking them out individually on their birthdays. Bronx decided to go to none other than Chuckie Cheese. This is becoming an annual event. I think we tried every game that they had in the place. Bentley liked to play on the small play gym going from one end to the other. Bronx got clothes from Mom and Dad and toys from his grandparents and Aunt Brooke. Yeah for Mom and Dad! I can't believe he is 4. They always say that time moves too fast and it really does. We told Bronx that when he turns 4 he can't have any more warm sippies. So now in the morning he asks for water or a cold sippie that is warmed up just a little bit. He is such a good kid and we can't belive how grownup a 4 year old can be.

Easter 2011
Why is it when you go to take a family picture you take 20 and only 1 really turns out, but you still have someone that isn't looking at the camera or they are not smiling. It never fails with my family. The kids loved their Easter basket from the Easter bunny and Nana made it even better and gave both Bronx and Bentley their own chairs. We have already had many fights about Bentley is sitting in Bronx's chair.
We've Been Egged
On Saturday morning I woke up and decided that we would egg our friends house using the idea at www.eighteen25.blogspot.com. Later that night we got egged by non other than The Smiths. Great minds think alike. I was so surprised and thought it was the funniest thing that we egged each other. We are so greatful to have such great friends that we would egg each others houses. Loved it! Thanks to the Smith Family for making this Easter a little extra special.
Easter Egg Hunt at the Mannings
We had so much fun at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Mannings house. There was so much candy I had no where to put it all when we got home. The kids will be on a sugar high for the next decade. After the Easter Egg Hunt there was a pinata full of more candy. It was fun to see Grandma and Grandpa try a crack at the pinata. Then it was easter egg coloring. Bronx kept wanting to color the easter eggs blue because that is his favorite color. He dyed 4 eggs blue. Bentley was too busy to sit and color eggs. Maybe next year. It was a fun day!
St. Patricks Day 2011
For St. Patricks Day this year we did a little scavenger hunt. I found this idea on a blog and thought it was soo cute. There were 6 clues, each clue led them to another and finally to there surprise. Each clue had 2 real gold coins in them. The last clue told them to go take their gold coins and use them for service. We haven't done our service yet with the money, but still trying to think of something good. I think the kids had a good time. I really enjoyed myself making the clues and their surprises. Sometimes I feel like I have more fun than the kids do.
